Hi there
So I just installed Bootcamp/ Windows 10 and my problem now is that there's no way to directly access the Mac drive from Windows.
In the past I used the app MacDrive and I tried their new beta supporting APFS+ but it still doesn't recognize the Mac drive/ partition. It only shows up in MacDrive's file explorer but you can't do anything except format a drive which isn't what I want to do.
The other solution is to install a tool on Mac that allows me to write files to the Bootcamp Windows folders. The issue there is that now I only allocated 100GB to Bootcamp. And of that over 30GB is being used already by Windows 10. If I have a game that is around 30-40GB installation files then I will only have 20GB'ish left of disk space if I put the installation files into Bootcamp partition.
Which is why I'd like to access Mac drive from Windows so that I don't have to move big files over to the Windows partition.
I'm a bit disappointed Apple has not thought of making it easier to access/ write Mac or Windows files from each OS. And that you need third party tools to do so.
What do now? Any suggestions?
(I'm on latest 2018 MBP 15' with High Sierra + APFS)
